エミリーの役割と責任は、2016年4月から2018年4月までンドゥインドゥイ保健センターを拠点に、WASH、リプロダクティブ・ヘルス、非感染性疾患の分野における健康意識、能力開発、電子カルテ、教育でコミュニティを支援することである。
ディザスター・エイド・インターナショナルの代表として、エミリーは西アンバエで最も脆弱で困窮している家族にソーヤー・ウォーター・フィルターを提供し、産科病棟や保健センター内の他の場所で使用している。
エミリーは出産予定日の約1ヶ月前に行われるニーズ調査を行う。
必要に応じて、新しい母親はンドゥイ・ンドゥイ保健センターから退院後、新しいバケツにソーヤー・ウォーター・フィルターを装着して帰宅する。
