WEST SENECA, N.Y. — As you make outdoor plans this summer, one Western New York woman wants to make sure you're also coming up with a plan to deal with ticks.

The founder of Lyme WNY told 2 On Your Side on Wednesday that she's getting a lot more questions this year about ticks, and ticks bites, than in the past.

"Every year, I always say it's getting worse, or we're getting more, or we're getting inundated. This is by far the heaviest of requests I've gotten for help, and panicked phone calls, or panicked emails, especially in children," said Rebecca Roll, founder and chair of Lyme WNY.
