ティンバー・パスのトレイルヘッドで他の2組のカップルと出会い、ブラックロック・パスを登り、リトル・ファイブ・レイクスを下り、ソウトゥース・パスを登る4日間のハイキングが始まった。東部で1年過ごした後、カリフォルニアに戻るのにこれ以上の方法はないと思う。
