Here at Wirecutter, we spent the last 365 days smushing Goldfish into the upholstery of our cars to test handheld vacuums, sloshing mud and smashed-up chalk off of concrete floors to find the very best mops, and purposely smearing T-shirts with pizza grease and pig’s blood (yes, really) to put stain removers to the test.
