アパラチアン・トレイルで人気のストーブ、フィルター、パワーバンク：2022年スルーハイカー調査
トレックでは毎年、アパラチアン・トレイル（AT）の長距離ハイカーに、2022年のスルーハイクで使用したストーブや浄水器について尋ねている。今年は、ハイカーが使用したパワーバンクについての質問も加えました。 シリーズ最終回となる今回は、最もポピュラーな調理システム、補給戦略、浄水器、水やダニが媒介する病気、そしてパワーバンクについて取り上げる。
ハイカーのサンプル
2022年には403人のハイカーが調査に参加し、全員がATを歩いた。ほぼ90％がスルーハイカーで、残りはセクションハイカーだった。ハイカーの人口統計の詳細については、調査の一般的な情報を掲載した最初の記事をご覧ください。
データは2022年10月から11月にかけて、ソーシャルメディア、Backpacker Radio、TheTrek.coを通じて収集された。(2023年にハイキングを開始しながら、今年完歩したと主張するタイムトラベラーが数人いた)。明らかな重複は見つからなかった。
